Professionally, I’ve worked at The Edge, Malaysia’s leading financial weekly where I first wrote for the business desk for a year before moving on to the award-winning luxury lifestyle section, Options. While there, I worked in a close-knit group, gaining valuable journalism experience in a smorgasbord of lifestyle areas including fashion, art, food, alcohol, travel, and even cars. I also wrote for the publication’s interior design magazine, haven, which profiled stylish abodes and their equally fascinating owners.
At the moment, I am based in Columbus, OH and freelance outside my permanent job at an online entity. My works have appeared in For Connoisseurs (a Malaysian bi-monthly focused on luxury lifestyle news), BACCARAT Malaysia (a Malaysian magazine also focused on luxury lifestyle news), and myStarjob.com (a web portal that caters to the needs of job seekers and those looking for ideas on how to excel professionally).
Besides developing engaging creative content that captivates readers, I am also adept at working with companies to engineer long and short copy for specific goals, be it to persuade the reader in making retail choices or educating them on a certain matter.
